Praise for the Sid Meier's Civilization VII Soundtrack

an unparalleled auditory experience—one that carries you through the grand sweep of human history with music that is both evocative and triumphant.
Game8
…crafted orchestral and folk music that not only best represent the culture but are also suited to Civilization VII’s three age system.
XboxEra
The music in this game is also brilliant, and that’s no surprise. The last several Civilizations have had gorgeous arrangements that change as the game does. It is quite easy to just get lost in the music and, ultimately, you’ll fall in love with a couple of specific leaders just because of the music that plays when you’re leading them to victory.
Gaming Nexus
The soundtrack for Civ 7 is top-notch as well. This has always been a strong point of the series… It really sets the mood for playing each civilization…
Destructoid
the Mongolian theme music is the greatest Civilization music we’ve had to date.
The Gamer
The music fits perfectly and adapts to each era and the moment we are experiencing.
IGN Spain
a simply masterful soundtrack
Gameblog
The music and sound design deserve a prominent mention.
IGN
It’s a simply stunning piece of work that clearly demonstrates the developers’ attention to detail, as well as the respect they all have for the various nations they’ve taken on the task of representing with the utmost respect. It is, above all, a musical evolution that the game builds upon until it explodes in the final act.

In the case of the music, Firaxis has gone above and beyond in creating a sense of cultural identity that everyone can appreciate. During the first two eras, the instruments transport us to a certain time period, but when it comes time to begin the Modern era, we aren’t transported to France or Russia, but rather become members of these societies.
